Dr. Pepper’s risky strategyFrom targeted ads to a men-only section on Facebook, Dr. Pepper has gone to great lengths to promote its new figure-friendly soda Dr. Pepper Ten. While the company’s controversial campaign has succeeded in generating buzz about the product, some in the industry question whether the move will end up alienating the brand’s female consumers, who often have the final say on which products make it to the checkout counter.
