REVIEW: Acadia
The location:
1639 S. Wabash Ave. | (312) 360-9500 | AcadiaChicago.com
The setting:
The 70-seat space, including a main dining room divided by a transparent curtain and a smaller salon, is a modern oasis of cool, muted colors with white upholstered club chairs.
The food:
The 20-seat bar and lounge has its own menu of high-end snacks for the neighborhood crowd — burgers, mussels, lobster roll ($11-$14) — but keep your eye on the crack mixologist behind it. Beverage director Michael Simon (formerly of Graham Elliot) takes classic drinks for a spin with housemade bitters and syrups.
