UPDATED — Chicago Marathon registration sells out in 6 days: Here are a few interesting stats about the marathon:
- Last year, registration for the 26.2-mile race sold out in 31 days, the previous registration record.
- A decade ago, it took 35 weeks to reach maximum capacity.
- This year, more than 37,000 people had already registered by day 3. Last year, that number was 20,996.
